Like every human expression, this job born out of necessity. A latent need: try to go beyond a simple message made by words. Not only to go beyond things by telling what I saw and what I did, but also by the feeling and emotions that I’ve got, those abstract and touchable experiences that made my journey unique.
This necessity slowly raised during my stay in India, where I could’t make people understand what I was living. How can I describe with simple words the Indian culture? or a simple action like catching a train that punctually turns into an adventure?
I had to transcend my isolation, I needed to express everything that I felt inside my head. That’s how I discovered the power of the camera. Photography became my new language. So lines, curves and colors replaced words, and emotions, looks and sensations became alive, understandable and sharable. My personal background became accessible to other and I finally have the possibility to share my adventure, my journey, myself. So, following the path guided by a inner push that beat inside of me, I materialized my evolution: I’ve realized my first photography exhibition… photos took another dimensions, the printed paper one.
Fifteen shoots. Fifteen stories that, from all the ones that I’ve experiences, got me in the deep, becoming part of my personal story. Here below you will see these shoots and if only one of this pictures moved you please, let me know… your emotions are the fuel of my desire to knowledge.
